The Barfield training provides the participant with the skills necessary to accurately use the Barfield 450 test set to perform the required testing of an aircraft’s pitot/static system. The course offers the opportunity to apply knowledge of the pitot/static system and the test set’s capabilities to the performance of leak tests on the aircraft’s pitot/static components and system.

  • The course consists of 5 lessons and a final exam.
  • In order to receive a certificate upon completion of the course, the exam must be passed with a score of at least 75%.
Objectives:
  • Identify the components of the pitot/static system
  • Understand the Barfield 450 test set’s capabilities and processes  
  • Apply knowledge of the pitot/static system and the Barfield 450 to test an aircraft’s pitot/static system

The Laversab 6300 training provides the participant with the skills necessary to accurately use the Laversab 6300 test set to perform the required testing of an aircraft’s pitot/static system. The course offers participants the opportunity to apply knowledge of the pitot/static system and the test sets capabilities to the performance of leak tests on the aircraft’s pitot/static components and system.

  • The course consists of 3 lessons and a final exam.
  • In order to receive a certificate upon completion of the course, the exam must be passed with a score of at least 75%.
