1.    When I launch a course in Google Chrome, I am getting a warning about "Course Requirement" with a link to download the latest version of Adobe® Flash® Player. When I click the link, it asks to run Flash?  What should I do?

Answer: Chrome and many other browsers are blocking Flash® content. If you are on the page with the Course Requirement message,

  1. click on the blue link “Click here to get the latest version of Adobe® Flash® Player.”
  2. On the pop-up click “Allow”.  This will enable Flash® content.  The lesson will reload quickly and then allow you to start the course.
  3. If you do not see a pop-up to click “Allow” you may see an icon on the right side of the address bar with a red square letting you know Flash® was blocked. You may click on the site information symbol, the lock icon on the left side of the address bar, if Flash® is listed select Allow, if Flash® is not listed, click Site Settings, find Flash in the list and change it to Allow. Upon returning to the lesson click the "Reload" button to apply the update.
NOTE: This will be enabled for your entire session however if you leave and come back you may have to “Allow” Flash® again.

2.    I have finished the lesson but when I come back to the main course the next lesson is not available?

Answer:
The lesson that you left was not complete. To check which section was missed in the lesson, follow the steps below.

  1. Open the lesson you are currently having issues with.
  2. Once the lesson loads click the menu button.
  3. You will notice that one or more sections are darker in text than the others (The lighter gray text indicates the section has been completed).
  4. Click on the darker gray section and complete the section and click the next button. If you have multiple darker sections, complete each section by following step 3.  You can verify you completed the sections by clicking the menu button and showing all sections are in light gray.
  5. Once all sections are light gray you can close the lesson (Note: you do not have to go through all of the sections again) and the next lesson will now be available.

Answer: Disable or Update your toolbars

How: In Internet Explorer, click View - Mouse over “Toolbars” and uncheck any toolbars that do not come with Internet Explorer. Examples are Google, Yahoo, Lexmark, MSN, etc. If this solved your problem, you should go back to the provider (Google, Yahoo, Lexmark, MSN, etc.) and update the toolbar.

  3. Click Extensions

5.    When I click in the Human Factors lesson: “Setting the Stage,” I receive a message that says, “The program is not tracking your progress at this time. Please close the program and try again.” What should I do?

Answer: Please contact your IT Department as they can be blocking video streams. Human Factors is composed of many videos that are required to complete the course.  If your IT Department blocks streaming video sites such as YouTube and Vimeo it is likely they are blocking videos from GLOBALJET’s E-Learning.

Other options you can try is logging into GLOBALJET’s E-Learning via a home computer which is not subject to a corporate firewall.

6.    I cannot see the menu bar or progress through the lesson?

Answer: Your current resolution does not meet the minimum requirements for Global Jet Services e-Learning courses.

How: There are 2 possible solutions that can fix this issue.

  1. Go to full screen. Some resolutions are just slightly lower than the minimum requirement. Most browsers use the F11 key to enable Full Screen. If F11 does not enable Full Screen please review the help of the current browser you are using.
  2. The second option is to decrease the zoom. If your browser is set to 125% zoom it will have a dramatic effect on the e-Learning content. Our courses are optimized for 100%. If you don’t meet the minimum screen resolution you can reduce to 75% or lower to fit the screen to your window. Each browser is different so please look up help in your browser to find the supported way to reduce the screen resolution.

7.    Where can I find my certificate?

Answer: Your certificates can be found in "Profile" located under your name on the right-hand side.

  1. Log into the Global Jet Services e-Learning at https://elearning.globaljetservices.com/
  2. Click your name in the upper right-hand corner
  3. Click on “Profile”
  4. Click “My certificates” under Miscellaneous
  5. To download your certificate, click the blue download button under File

8.    Where can I find my invoice?

Answer: It is not possible to retrieve your invoice via the Learning Management System.  The email address used to create the account was sent a copy of the invoice upon purchase.  If you have lost the email, GLOBALJET is able to retrieve the invoice for up to one year after purchase.  Please email cs@globaljetservices.com and allow up to 48 hours for a copy to be sent.

NOTE:

  1. For security reasons we can only send the invoice to the email address that was used to purchase the course.
  2. Invoices are not generated if you use a coupon code.
